XyEnterprise User Group Meets in Amsterdam to Explore Web Services, XML Content Management, and Enterprise Publishing.

Customers Share Success Stories on Use of XyEnterprise's XML Technologies

READING, MA - May 4, 2004 - XyEnterprise, the leading developer of XML content management and enterprise publishing solutions, and its independent customer forum, the XyUser Group, hosted their annual Spring User Conference last week in Amsterdam, Netherlands. A wide variety of European and UK XyEnterprise customers, including LexisNexisUK, Letterpart, Grafikon, Jane’s Information Group, as well as XyEnterprise partners Portalyx and Catalysts, shared information about their XyEnterprise-based solutions through demonstrations, presentations, and round-table discussions.

The sessions highlighted the business benefits and XML-technology advantages of Web Services publishing environments, content management and workflow support through browser interfaces, and automated XML publishing solutions for reference and technical documents. Many of the customers discussed the new business models generated by the Web Services-driven XML publishing capabilities available from XyEnterprise.

Conference highlights included:

- LexisNexis UK and Letterpart's demonstration of their Web Services environment for legal publishing, powered by XyEnterprise's XML Professional Publisher (XPP)

- Jane's Information Groups demonstration of their XyEnterprise Content@ Web-based editorial content management solution.

- Portalyx's presentation of Web Services Publishing scenarios for Educational and Book Publishing.

- XyEnterprise's introduction of XSL-FO support and new style editing options for XML publishing in their XPP product.

- Educational and tutorial sessions presented by a number of users, XyEnterprise European staff and XyEnterprise partners focused on Web and database technology, content management techniques, and advance concepts in pagination technology. These sessions provided a valuable learning experience for all of the participants.
