Using the Unicode compliant XML Professional Publisher (XPP) pagination software from XyEnterprise running on modern Windows servers, supported by Windows workstations, we are able to produce complex work with minimum fuss. We also have a complete offsite Disaster Recovery installation, should that be required, equipped with everything we need to be up and running quickly in the event of a disaster. Our batch pagination system helps us streamline production, control costs, and gives us total control over all the elements of page production. In recent years we have changed the methods of working to facilitate the input and output of XML/SGML without the need for complex transformations. We also employ customised transformations that allow us to round trip Word files to XML and back again. Using our Web Services interface, customers have complete control over their publication using our online proofing system – they have 24/7 access and can be anywhere that has Internet access to use this service.
